Class Descriptions:

ZenFit Pilates: is a contemporary approach that focuses on functional movement and postural correction of muscular imbalances that cause pain and increased risk of injury. The permanent solution  - pain free fitness…Founded by Joseph Pilates in the early 1900s, the original pioneer of “core” based fitness. Here we use balls, bands and numerous props to keep it varied and fun. Suzanne is STOTT certified, the gold standard in pilates qualificaitons

 

Gravity/Total Gym: Improve strength, bone density and lean body mass: Cardiovascular and Strength Fitness is a crucial part of your weekly fitness programme. Benefits are improvement of body composition, reduction of risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, improved immune system and mental outlook. No boredom here with every session varied and fun. Unwind and forget your busy day on the comfort of the Gravity slant board. A combination of traditional pilates, strength and stretching exercises to both relax and energise your body and mind!

 

PoleTonic Fitness Classes: is rapidly becoming an “alternative” strength training choice . The origins of using a pole come from China and India dating back to the 12th Century and mainly performed by men doing acrobatic style movements in circus style settings. Later in the 20th century pole evolved to include exotic dance, fitness and is now a competitive sport. Using just your body to perform a variety of  pull up style movements resulting in rapid strength and muscle tone. Classes combine pilates, dance, yoga and traditional pole moves. With a certification based in exercise science, strict adherence to safety and technique ensures a great experience for all levels and all ages.

 

Private sessions and food coaching/cooking classes:  Private sessions are a great way to get started and address your personal goals or update your exisiting programme. The hands on cooking and food coaching equip you with great ideas to prepare nutritious, low fat meals and dishes. Food classes are ongoing and by appointment. Ask to join our SuzGym facebook group for ongoing food coaching on the net. Private groups and events available.
